Broad Achievements under the Times Group banner:

  • Successfully planned and implemented multiple Print + Digital Media Campaigns for Automobile majors like Toyota Kirloskar India, Honda Cars India, Hyundai, Mahindra & Nissan India, etc.

  • Planning and organizing focused category, Auto Exhibitions with approx. 8 to 10 Auto players at exhibiting areas like the KOD, Ambience Mall Gurgaon, Mall of India, GIP Noida, etc.

  • Previously instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, implementing and driving an IP named "Swyamvar" for the Matrimonial Category (Part of Times Interact, The Times of India).

Definition of role (AUTO) --- Handling a Team of 3 team members with an objective of :

  • Maintenance of existing Client base / Develop and maintain Channel Partners

  • Create customized Media Solutions to cater Client requirements

  • Cater to Media & PR requirements of Automobile Clients with special focus on
    Print Media

MANAGER @ TIMES BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LTD. (TIMESJOBS.COM)

Successfully planned, organized & executed India’s 1st “VLSI Design Job Lounge” in Bangalore and managed to sell the concept to top Semiconductor Design / EDA companies like Freescale Semiconductors, Cadence Design Systems, Agilent Technologies, Skyworks and Interra Systems.

Joint project with Ministry of Industry (Sh. Ashwani Kumar & IAS: KAP Sinha), Organized by Timesjobs.com & backed up by ITPO; with a target to provide Jobs in the City of Gurdaspur. Job Fair held for 3 Days in the Campus of Beant College of Engineering & Design.

Role: Senior Project Lead from Timesjobs.com, working in tandem with Ministry of Industry & DC Gurdaspur. Key roles were to ensure invitations & participation from the Corporate for this event. Total plan & actual on ground execution for this 3-day event.

Skills Used: Event Selling, Media / Strategy Planning & Management, Marketing, Job Fairs and Team Management

Driven Results: There were 30 Participating Companies from different sectors. Resulting in a total registration of approx. 16000 Walk-ins, & a turnout of 700 Job confirmations. Event was covered by all major print Media in the Gurdaspur Area

Awarded with the “Director’s Choice Award” for most efficient media planning & execution.

May 2009 - June 2010

Significantly engaged in streamlining the end to end process for a quarterly event “New Platinum Forum”, resulting in big cost savings & increased attendance for all invited leaders for the event.

Key Deliverable:

  • Managing all the major events at Amway India Enterprises for the distributor leaders and motivating them to over-achieve the targets, thereby contributing to the revenue growth of the company.

  • Facilitating meaningful business discussion between distributor leaders & corporate.

  • Organizing Amway Leadership Seminar, one of the many rewards Amway offers to its leaders for consistently building the Amway Business. The Seminar is an annual International Event for 1300 – 1500 delegates.

  • Collecting and analyzing data on industry trends and countering any negative growth by effective intervention through schemes and reward programs.

  • Development of existing online business of the company through planned activities & proper showcasing of merchandise with business portals.

  • Developing the affiliate program and monitoring offline order processing.
